Design ideas were driven by the need to balance arts and crafts with the demands of industrial mass production.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The demand for handmade designer glasses continues even after the traditional glass industry has ceased. Production takes place abroad, but also in Danish studio glass workshops.
