About us
Rombachs Glass is a public access (waste) glass studio offering workshops, events and demonstrations. The studio uses waste glass, works with bio-propane, utilises rainwater and rents out equipment to glass enthusiasts in order to maintain and grow in a sustainable and ecological manner.
We offer our services to make products for designers as well artists looking to explore the medium of waste glass. Our events are geared towards promoting glass in general, offering classes in glassblowing, flame-working and fusing and Tiffany technique.
We try to find a balance between sustaining the studio and everybody that works in it; and exploring our passion for sculpture and design using waste glass.
What we offer
- We do workshops, demonstrations and teambuilding events for everyone.
- We take on commissions for artists and designers if they follow the same ideals and principles we do.
- We work on our own work, helping each other as needed.
